First edition hardback bound in original blue cloth with printed dark blue title to cover. Original pictorial dust jacket, price-clipped. Ink inscription to ffep dated 1946. Full colour illustrated frontispiece. Line drawings within the text throughout. Shallow chipping along the top edge of the front cover of the jacket, not affecting title or illustration. Small loss to top edge of spine, about half a cm, light edgewear all over and closed tear to lower hinge, about 1.5 cm. Occasional minor spotting to page fore-edges. Pages otherwise bright and clean if a touch toned. Overall a very good copy of this scarce book. 64 pp.
