Dark blue cloth board, paper covered boards with floral decoration to the upper board. Boards scratched, soiled and marked. Edges rubbed with some loss of paper cover. Rear hing is cracked, binding is weak with several pages off centre. An album designed by E. Nesbit to be filled in by the owner as is explained by a short poems to the title page - "May each page of my album be brightened/By the grace that a friend's hand will lend." Over half of the pages have been filled in in neat black ink by the previous owner.
