Half bound in red leather with marble boards. Spine rubbed with some loss of the leather esp. to raised bands and to top and tail. Slight general edge wear to boards with scuffing to corners. Top edge gilt. Bookplate to front pastedown. Previous owner's ink inscription to title page. Quite heavy foxing to prelims. With a folding map at the front showing a plan for kennels, edges browned and a little curled. Browning to fore edge. The original cloth boards, front and rear, have been bound into the rear of the book with the original spine pasted to a page in between. pp 336. Image available on request.
