With a general report of the proceedings of the meeting, and a catalogue of the museum formed on that occasion. Published at the Office of the Institute. With numerous plates and illustrations within the text. Plus fold out plans/maps. Bound in brown cloth with blind stamp tooling to upper and lower boards. Gilt tooling to spine. General shelf wear to extremities, especially top and tail of spine with some creasing/chipping. Corners slightly bumped. Previous owner's bookplate and inscription to front paste down end paper. Some foxing to prelims. Binding fairly sound with weak hinges and a few splits/cracks to binding between some pages. E.g. between pages 304 and 321 the pages are only connected by one thread to the base. Split to cloth on front hinge to top (approx. 3.5cm) and a small hole to the cloth at the base of the front hinge (approx. 1cm). Overall a good copy.
