Pictorial red cloth boards with gilt and black decorations to the front board and spine. Spine is sunned. Minor shelf wear to the extremities, especially to the top and tail of the spine. End papers cracked. Small, neat inscription from the previous owner (dated 1888) to the front free end paper. Contents clean and bright throughout although there is some minor browning to the first plate. Binding quite weak in places. 173 pp.
