Bound in the publishers original cream cloth with gilt titles to the front board, bumping to the corners with some loss. Faded gilt titles to the spine with wear to the top and tail, scuffing down the centre. Top edge gilt. Untrimmed pages. 148pp. Internally there is some foxing/browning throughout especially towards the rear. Cracking to the internal hinge and a crude tape repair to the frontispiece. Beautifully illustrated with 32 full page colour plates and a folding map to the rear.
