A beautiful copy. Bound in half rich green leather by Bayntun's of Bath with beautiful flower detail and gilt titles to the spine. The spine has sunned to brown but otherwise the boards are clean and the titles bright. Top edge of the text block gilt. Marbled endpapers with no owner's bookplates or inscriptions. Some light foxing throughout however, the pages are generally clean. There is a beautifully illustrated full page colour frontispiece with tissue guard as well as numerous colour plates and b&w illustrations within text. 300pp. Overall a lovely copy would make a superb gift.
