Bound in full polished calf. The front and rear boards are bordered by two ruled gilt lines. Boards are slightly rubbed and worn with slight off-setting along the outer hinges, piece of leather missing to the rear. Five raised bands and gilt titles to the spine. Front outer hinge has partly split. Marble end-papers. pp xix + 449. Marble end-papers. Previous owners label to the front paste down, once belonging to Sir Alan Garrett Anderson. Small neat inscription to a prelim otherwise the contents are generally very clean. An attractive copy.
