Original cloth boards with some discolouration and minor lifting of the cloth. Text block partly detached from the binding. Front and rear end-papers toned with child's smudged scribble to the rear. The margins of the text are a little grubby with surface wear to six of the pages including illustrations. Two of the pages have pieces missing to the margins. Overall a fair copy. Scarce.
