Original navy cloth boards with bevelled edges and pictorial paper on-lay to the front. Decorative gilt detail and titles to the spine. Front and rear boards clean and bright with very minimal wear although there is slight lifting of the cloth with minor fading to the rear. Top edge of the text block bright gilt. Binding tight. Pages clean throughout with just the occasional spot of foxing. Beautifully illustrated with colour frontispiece, several full page colour plates and line drawings throughout. pp. 634. Overall a good copy of this classic tale.
