Undated, first edition 1914 according to Worldcat. Hardback in original mustard-yellow paper covered boards, colour illustrated paste-down motif to cover with black embossed pictures and lettering accented in white. Cloth spine with black lettering. Pictorial endpapers, neat ink inscription to fep. Colour illustrated frontispiece with caption, illustrated title page. A further eleven colour plates throughout, as well as numerous illustrations within the text. Binding is rubbed, some scuffs and creases to front paste-down, spine edges a little worn and corners bumped. Occasional spotting, coloured pen spots to page one, otherwise clean and bright. Overall very good condition. A lovely copy of this scarce book.
