Edited by the Rev. A. B. Grosart, LL.D. Bound in vellum with a fair amount of brown staining to the front cover but minimal shelf wear. All edges of the text block are gilt and still quite bright. The text block has warped, so the book does not properly close. There is a print of George Herbert opposite the title page, from the original engraving by R. White in 1674. Binding tight. Pages are generally clean throughout, with slight foxing on a few pages. pp. lxxxii + 403. Overall a good copy.
