Hard Back no date circa 1859. Bound in full brown cloth in a good clean condition and with minimal wear. Bright gilt titles to the spines with a touch of shelf wear to the top and base. All edges of the text block marbled. The pages are generally very clean with just the occasional spot of foxing especially to the prelims and rear. Illustrated throughout with many line drawings with-in the text and many folding maps, plans and tables. Most of the folding maps are in good condition however the first one does have some tape repair. Volume I, A-J pp. 704. Volume II, pp. J-Z pp. 705 to 1412 + 56. Overall a very good set. Would make an ideal gift.
