Original blue cloth boards with pretty pictorial front board, gilt titles and vignette to the spine. In overall good condition with just minor wear to the corners. Spine sunned with light shelf wear to the top and base. Binding tight. Previous owners' signature to the verso of the frontispiece. The occasional spot of foxing throughout although the pages are generally clean. Illustrated with full page monochrome frontispiece and a further seven illustrations throughout by W.S. Stacey. pp. viii + 310 +2. A charming copy.
