First Edition. Blue cloth boards with bevelled edges and gilt titles to the front. In good condition despite a little wear and toning to the extremities. Spine has faded with light shelf wear to the top and base. Top edge gilt. Pages are toned with foxing to the title page and very occasionally throughout. Beautifully illustrated with colour tipped in plates and several photographic plates throughout. Overall a very good copy.
