Gilt pictorial to the front and rear boards still clean and bright while the gilt to the spine is a little dulled. Top edge of the text block gilt while the fore edge remains untrimmed. Binding tight. Pictorial endpapers. Previous owners' label to the verso of the front free endpaper. There is the very occasional spot of foxing throughout however the pages remain generally very clean. Illustrated with photogravure frontispiece and a further eight beautifully illustrated coloured plates. pp. 252. A good copy of this scarce title.
