Hard Back Tenth Impression, 1927. Original green cloth boards with pictorial of Brer Rabbit and The Tar baby to the front. In overall good condition despite a little discolouration, pictorial slightly rubbed and worn. Slight lean to the spine with shelf wear to the top and base with small stain to the rear. Pencil date and signature to the front free endpaper. Front and rear endpapers toned while there is the very occasional spot of foxing and thumb mark throughout otherwise the pages are clean. Beautifully illustrated by J.A. Shepherd. pp. xxxi + 288. Overall a good copy.
