Rendered into English from the literal and complete French translation of Dr J.C. Mardrus by Powys Mathers. Beautifully illustrated by Eric Fraser. Quarter bound in cream vellum with patterned paper covered boards. Simple yet beautiful gilt floral detail and titles to the spine. In good condition despite a little discolouration to volume one. Housed in a grey and black marbled slip case which does show a little wear to the extremities. Ex-libris book plate to the front paste down on all four volumes. Pages however are clean throughout. Overall a wonderful set. This set is heavy which will incur extra postal charges.
