Front board almost entirely detached; secured by upper binding string. Quarter bound in brown leather with marbled boards worn to corners and slight loss to back but otherwise good condition. Spine a little dry but fully intact with gilt. Owner's bookplate 'Perry Shepard' to front pastedown, slight discolouration to ffep. Text remarkably bright and clear despite some occasional minor tanning to page. Bfep heavily tanned. Four illustrations within. A sweet copy despite wear.
