Hard Back. Bound in the original maroon cloth with gilt pictorial to the front board, decorative embossed detail to both boards and vignette and gilt titles to the spine. In good condition despite a little fading to the extremities with minor loss to the corners. Spine sunned with the gilt dulled, shelf wear to the top and base. Slight cracking to the internal hinge although the binding is still fairly tight. Pencil notation to one of the blank pages and the occasional spot of foxing. Pages otherwise are clean throughout with twelve hand coloured plates by Wildrake Heath Jellicoe. pp. 519 + 16. Overall a good copy.
