New Edition. Handsome presentation copy bound in full rich tan leather with decorative gilt borders and gilt coat of arms. The spine has ornate gilt decoration and a black title band in between five raised bands. The leather is a little discoloured in places although still in good condition with very little wear. All edges of the text block and endpapers are marbled with a presentation label to the front pastedown dated 1888. Pages are clean throughout despite the very occasional spot of foxing. pp. xii + 388. Overall a good copy.
