Bound in soft leather in very good condition with gilt pictorial depicting rural scene. Spine with gilt title and has unobtrusive small marks. Spine also marginally faded. Top of the textblock gilded, a little dark, fore edge of the textblock shows very occasional foxing. Lovely endpapers in brown, green, and gold. Frontispiece of Browning as well as elaborate but tasteful title page. Number 4 written neatly in pencil on last page. Pages bright and clean. Includes Pied Piper of Hamelin. pp.256. Overall very good+. Would make a lovely gift.
