Hardback, 1971 reprint, with a new introduction by Professor Jack Simmons. The dust jacket is in a good clean condition and shows minimal wear, just a little surface wear to the rear. Not price clipped. Underneath lie black cloth boards which are a little bumped to the base of the front board although in good condition. The pages are clean throughout and illustrated with folding maps and several plates. Nichol's History and Antiquities of The County Leicester is the largest of the English county histories of the eighteenth century. This reproduces the original exactly save it has a slightly smaller and more convenient page size. This book is heavier than average and may require extra shipping. Overall a superb copy.
