This issue of "Eikon Basilike"; or the King's Book, is strictly limited to 290 copies on hand made paper, and 10 on vellum, for sale in England, of which this copy of No. 197. Quarter bound with cloth spine and paper covered boards in good condition despite a little discolouration and a little loss of paper to the corners and edges. The top edge of the text block is gilt and is still fairly bright while the fore-edge is untrimmed. Small previous bookseller's stickers to the front endpapers and newspaper clipping to the rear. The prelims and rear endpapers are a little foxed otherwise the pages are in a good clean condition. pp. iv + 176. Overall a good copy.
