Reprint with many additions By James Nasmith. Bound in full rich brown leather with gilt ruled borders and embossed decorative blind tooling, the spine has gilt titles and gilt decoration between six raised bands. The boards are detached with rubbing and loss to the corners. All edges of the text block are gilt and a little dulled. Previous owners' bookplate to the front paste down while the front free endpaper is loose, small neat pencil inscription to the verso. The pages are toned, expected with age, with foxing predominately to the prelims and occasionally throughout. The pages, however, are generally clean, illustrated with a portrait frontispiece and three pages of coats of arms to the rear. This book is heavy and may incur extra postage.
