A most charming set of Potter's tales featuring her iconic characters including Peter Rabbit! This is overall a good set, with any flaws being small annotations and discolouration to the dust jackets with chipping to the extremities. However The Tale Of Jeremy Fisher, Mrs Tittlemouse, Pigling Bland, Appley Dapply, Bad Rabbit and Cecil Parsely are without their dustjackets. Mixed Impressions 40's, 50's, 60's. Including The Tale of Peter Rabbit, The Tale Of Squirrel Nutkin, The Tailor of Gloucester, The Tale of Benjamin Bunny, The Tale Of Two Bad Mice, The Tales of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, The Tale Of Mr Jeremy Fisher. The Tale Of Tom Kitten, The Tale Of Jemima Puddle-Duck, The Tale Of Flopsy Bunnies, The Tale Of Mrs Tittlemouse, The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes, The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse, The Tale Of Mr Tod, The Tale of Ligling Bland, The Tale Of Samuel Whiskas, The Tale of the Pie And The Patty Pan, The Tale Of ginger & Pickles, The Tale Of Little Pig Robinson, The Story Of A Fierce Bad Rabbit, Appley Dapply's Nursery Rhymes and Cecil Parsely's Nursery Rhymes. The paper covered boards are generally in good condition with the exception of Mrs Tittlemouse, Cecily Parsley and Pigling Bland which has some discolouration to the front, Fierce Bad Rabbit has a few minor pen marks. Internally the bindings are tight and free of any marks or inscriptions and of course beautifully illustrated throughout.
