Hard back. First edition. The burgundy clothbound is in good condition, with a gilt title on the front cover. There is slight wear to the spine and extremities. Inside, on the verso of the cover, there is a small sticker belonging to a previous owner, as well as toning and an ink inscription belonging to another previous owner on the front free end pages. Otherwise, the pages and extensive images are clean. pp. x + 316. Overall, a fascinating insight into part of London's history.
