Hardback. Fourth Edition, 1754. Translated from the French. Complete with all ten volumes. Bound in full tan leather with gilt ruled borders and gilt titles to the spines. All volumes, despite a little cracking along the outer hinges, are sound with no loose boards, the leather however is rubbed and worn with the titles to the spines fading. Previous owners' book-plate to the front paste-down. Internally the pages are clean with just the occasional spot of foxing, volume 10 has a little staining towards the rear. The folding maps are complete with just a hint of edge wear. Internally this is a good set only marred by the outward appearance of the leather.
