Thirty One volumes of English Classic Literature. 2003 facsimile editions, originally published in the 1870's. All 31 volumes are uniformly bound in imitation leather with gilt decorative borders, gilt decoration and titles to the spines. Marbled endpapers. Beautifully enhanced with the original illustrations of George Cruikshank. The binding is in good condition with a little fading of the gilt to the boards and to the spines of two volumes. The endpapers have no previous owner's marks or bookplates and the pages are clean throughout. Overall a lovely set that would look beautiful on any bookshelf.
