Hard back. Beeton's Books Edition. The original cloth boards are a little faded, with a blind floral design, in-keeping with the story's Spanish setting. There is some fraying to the bottom of the spine and pulling to hinges, but gold gilt title and design remains bright. Original free front endpapers and tissue guard over the title page. There is cracking to the internal hinges, and slight foxing to the front pages, but the text remains clean throughout, alongside the extensive beautiful illustrations. pp. xxiv + 766 + 16. Overall, a good copy of a Spanish classic that would make a lovely addition to a collection of Beaton's Books.
