Half leather with original marble. Slight wear to the spine, including a loss from the top. Both front and back boards have some wear to the top and bottom edges, and the front board is loose but attached. The binding is otherwise tight. Verso of the front board has a small sticker belonging to a previous seller. Illustrated titles note publication by Clarke and Beeton. Text is a little faded in places but remains readable throughout. pp. v + 277. Overall, a good copy of a fascinating historical inquiry into the lives of the pilgrims in New England that would make a wonderful addition to a Beeton collection.
