Hardback. Re-bound in half black leather with marble paper covered boards, gilt titles on a red title band between four raised bands. The boards are a little rubbed and worn while there is fading to the spine and a little wear to the title band. The pages within are toned and show the occasional spot of foxing although generally clean. Beautifully illustrated frontispiece and half title page with several illustrations throughout. pp. viii + 495. Overall a good copy.
