First Edition Hardback. Handsomely bound in green cloth with triple blind stamped border lines to the boards and gilt titles to the spine. The cloth is discoloured in places with a little bumping to the corners. Internally the binding is tight. The yellow endpapers show a previous owner's signature and date, 1886, to the front paste down. The pages are generally clean throughout with just the occasional spot of foxing, illustrated with humorous caricatures. pp. 245. Overall a good copy.
