Hardback. Bound in the publisher's original green cloth with blind embossed detail to the boards and spine. The cloth has discoloured over time and is a little worn especially to the extremities. There has been some attempt at repair to the spine with some of the glue still visible. The front free endpaper, prelims and half title page are missing. The pages are toned with foxing throughout although the text is still legible. Illustrated with forty eight magnificent drawings, from authentic sketches taken in the colony. pp. xii + 372.
