Volume II. Camden Third Series Volume XLVII. Hard back. The front and rear boards are in very good condition, with only very slight wear, retaining their embossed design and bright gold gilt symbol. The spine is faded and shows some wear, especially along the bottom edge. The gold gilt title and design is faded, but still clear. The edges of the paper are a little foxed and worn along the top edge. Internally, the verso of the front board shows some creasing, and the front and rear end papers are a little toned. The front includes a small pencil inscription from a previous owner. There is some slight foxing throughout. pp. xix + 232. Overall, a very good copy of the second volume dealing with the General and Provincial Chapters of the English Black Monks, devoted to the Acts and Statutes of the Chapters in the period 1336-1540.
