Edition: Second and Abbreviated
Published By: Oxford, Printed for the Author
Soft back. The front and rear covers are both very faded, with substantial wear and some slight markings, being particularly creased to the extremities. The spine is very faded, and in places, rather damaged, with some substantial tears from the bottom edge up the spine. Internally, there is substantial wear to the verso of the front where a previous bookplate has been removed, and opposite this there are a number of small pencil and ink notes from previous owners. The front and rear free end papers are a little toned, but the text is readable throughout. pp. 92. Overall, an interesting abbreviated text on Chaucer's work on the mathematical instrument of the Astrolabe, including the original illustrations.
