Soft back. The front and rear covers are both a little worn, with a few small marks and some creasing to the extremities. The spine is rather worn along the top and bottom edges, and is a little creased down both edges. The edges of the pages are very worn, especially along the bottom. Internally, there is some foxing throughout, especially in the front and rear end papers. There is a small pencil inscription belonging to a previous owner in the front free end papers, and some small notes throughout, but the text remains very readable and clear. pp. 52. Overall, a good copy of a unique text examining the local history of North Derbyshire, accompanied with useful illustrations and notes.
