Hard back. The front and rear boards are rather worn, with significant markings and wear to the extremities, although the front retains its gold gilt title and symbol well. The spine is worn, with numerous markings and tears to the top and bottom edges. The gilt title, whilst still clear, is a little faded. The pages are worn and faded around the edges. There is some cracking to the internal hinges. Inside, there are some pencil marks in the front free end papers. The half title page is foxed, and has a small pencil inscription from a previous owner. Pages are faded and foxing throughout, but the text remains readable. pp. 97. Overall, a good copy of this largely forgotten play set in the fourteenth century, during the reign of Edward II.
