The Ecclesiastical History of the English Nation by The Venerable Bede

The front and rear boards are in very good condition, with only some slight wear to the extremities, and only some very small markings. The spine is worn, with a tear to its top edge, and some further wear to the bottom edge. The gold gilt titles are still very bright. The edges of the pages are very faded. Slight cracking to the internal hinges. Inside, there is a former library sticker to the verso of the front board and another opposite this that has been removed. Former library stamp on the verso of the title page. Pages faded throughout, but text is clean and readable. pp. xxxiv + 370. Overall, a very good copy of Bede's notable work on the early history of Christianity in England.
