Undated. Hard back. Wear to front and rear boards, especially around the extremities, with a number of markings. Gilt titles to front very faded, but retains elegant embossed floral design well. Spine along all edges, with a tear in the binding to the fore edge. Edges of pages faded. Slight cracking to internal hinges. Patterned front and rear end papers a little faded. All text readable throughout, including all illustrations and tipped in photographs remain clear. pp. 360. Overall, a good copy of this comprehensive text concerning bread, well illustrated, covering ingredients, the mechanical appliances contemporary to its publication, as well as various methods.
