Textured dark green cloth with gilt titles to front and spine with a double-ruled gilt border to the spine. Pages are clean with foxing to the prelims particularly as well as a little tanning. Frontispiece is a 13th Century reproduction of the earliest picture of a Jewess in England. There is a smallish stain to the pasted down front endpaper. Boards show occasional wear with minor scuffing. pp.384. Good+ A fascinating book.
