Hardback. The deluxe edition bound in full brown leather with decorative embossing to the front and gilt titles to the spine. This one comes complete with the glassine wrap and housed in a box. The leather is in very good condition with just a little wear to the spine. The glassine wrap is intact and generally in good condition, unusual as these usually get torn over time. The box is overall in good condition despite closed tears along two of the corners. The top edge of the text block is gilt and still bright while the fore edge and base remain free of any marks. Internally the binding is tight while the pictorial endpapers show no bookplates or previous owners' inscriptions. The rest of the pages are bright and clean throughout. Beautifully illustrated with 12 colour plates, each with its tissue guard and the occasional line drawing throughout. pp. 256. Overall a beautiful copy.
