Full soft leather with art deco gilt motif to the front and gilt title to the spine. Marbled endpapers with a neat inscription dated 1923. Frontispiece of Balzac in sepia, pages clean with illustrations unusually located at the edges of the pages. Endpapers darkened, very occasional foxing. Curling to leather and discolouration to spine. pp.344. Fair to good.
