Quarter cloth bound with green boards and spine, gilt title and scene to spine, which is rubbed. Binding generally tight with some shelf wear visible to boards. Pages clean and bright, illustrated and with decorative chapter headings throughout including frontispiece of "Miss Jessie". Prize plaque neatly pasted to front pasted-down endpaper dated Easter 1914. pp. xiv + 319. Overall a lovely edition of the well-known novel.
