Emerald cloth with gilt titles to front and spine and unusual floral decoration. A little internal cracking, brown endpapers with some marks. 'The Golden Gate' frontispiece a nice touch along with further illustrations and a double page map of California in 1876. The boards show mild wear to the extremities. pp.xii+238. Good.
