Presentation copy handsomely bound in full leather with gilt coat of arms to the front, titles and raised bands to the spines. The leather is rubbed and worn with some fading especially to the spine. All edges of the text block are gilt and is still fairly bright. Marble endpapers with inner gilt dentelles. Bookplate to the front pastedown dated 1905 with a previous owner's signature to one of the prelims. The binding is still tight. There is the occasional spot of foxing and some pencil annotations otherwise the pages are clean. Overall a good copy.
