Hardback clothbound. Two Volumes, Edited by Reginald Brimley Johnson. Pride And Prejudice, 1898. Beautifully bound in pale green cloth with dark green printed pictorial detail and gilt titles to the front. The cloth is in good condition with just a little darkening to the spines and shelf wear to the top and base. Minor white mark to the top of the spine on volume two. The top edge of the text block is gilt while the fore edge remains untrimmed. Decorative endpapers are lightly foxed but remain free of any bookplates or inscriptions while the text block is still fairly tight with no loose pages. Beautifully illustrated with several full-page colour plates including the frontispiece. The pages remain clean with just the very occasional spot of foxing. A lovely set in overall good condition, ideal as a gift for any fan of Jane Austen beautifully illustrated by C.E. & H.M. Brock.
