Nelson's Friendships (Two Volumes)

Blue cloth binding, bright to the front and rear boards, very nice gilt heraldic pictorial embossed to each front. The pages are clean despite foxing and neat inscriptions to the front endpapers both dated 1911. Many illustrations throughout including frontispiece of Nelson. Part of the cloth to the spine of Volume II is detached and there are quite a few rips to the spines. A few stains to the boards, internal cracking, a few pages lose, occasional toning. Vol I pp.x+383, Vol II pp.xvi+368. Fair condition. These are attractive volumes with a lot of wear.
