Emerald green cloth binding with lovely geometric patterning in gilt to the spine. Neat signature by Henry Stewart Brown dated 1921 and a further neat signature. The pages are clean with illustrations throughout, often mountains. The text block is a little dark, the boards show some mild wear, the spine is impressively bright with a tight binding. Small newspaper cutout regarding Whympers affixed to the front free endpaper. Fold-out maps at the back are highly detailed. pp.xviii+432. Good. A book for mountain enthusiasts.
