Paper covers. 1939 Second edition, complete with the original envelope with Holly printed design to the front. Pictorial white paper covers in good condition despite light wear to the extremities. Beautiful decorative endpapers with full page colour frontispiece and vignette to the title page with several more line drawings within the text. The pages are clean with no foxing or inscriptions with a few of the page edges uncut. The envelope has a few small closed tears and light wear to the extremities. Overall a good copy. Would make an ideal gift. A narrative poem written by Christina Rossetti telling the story of two sisters.
